Gaynor Minden retains the classic beauty of lustrous pink satin and elegant tapered lines, but with a completely modernized interior to meet the needs of today’s athletic dancers. They are made with expert American hand-craftsmanship, the most up-to-date athletic materials, and first-hand knowledge of ballet. The designer and almost the entire team are former dancers. 

Gaynor Mindens last 3-6 times longer than traditionally made pointe shoes. The parts that provide support for the dancer, the shank and toe box, are made from advanced flexible polymers. 

Gaynor Minden shanks do not soften, weaken or break in with use, so you need to be sure your roll-through is perfect when the shoe is new.

Supple Gaynor Minden Pointe Shoes come in a pink bag and have a medium shank flexibility.

The Classic Fit is the original U shaped foot: the metatarsal, midfoot and heel are generously cut.

All the pointe shoes in our stock have suede tip platforms, deep vamp and high heel.
