About Lucky Film 

The Lucky Film Corporation (formerly known as Baoding Cinefilm Manufacturing Factory) was founded in 1958 as part of the Chinese Government’s plans to build ‘in-house’ manufacturing capacity for important products.

There were a major part of the film industry in the second half of the 20th century, and one of the most important Asia suppliers.

During the early 21st Century and the digital revolution, they formed a partnership with Kodak Eastman in an effort to further modernise their operations, but sadly this wasn’t enough to keep them in the consumer market.

Their films were known for providing a neutral colour palette, although of course that’s less likely to be true now that the film is 12 year’s expired! 

Please note that we can’t guarantee results with any films past expiry date. However we have done spot tests on the batch, and are also reassured by our supplier that they have been stored properly over the past years.
